The William Angliss Institute @ SLIIT has formed a collaboration with Resplendent Ceylon to establish an academy for southern Sri Lanka to encourage people to begin developing their talents in the hospitality, food, events, and tourist industries.

Education in hospitality, food, events, and tourism industries will be served by the proposed Resplendent academy by William Angliss Institute @ SLIIT. Participants will receive formal training on the Luxury market, client mix, and service standards in order to maximize the resort’s location and the proximity of the skills academy to industry-focused training and demonstration opportunities, as well as to increase local knowledge of the value of tourism and leverage the academy’s location as a tool for community participation, industry recruitment, and allowing the community to benefit from the planned services. There will also be an emphasis on female involvement in the community.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who operate in a variety of routine and predictable hospitality jobs. Individuals work under accurate supervision and have been given specific duties to do. The Certification will be offered by the William Angliss Institute in Australia and the Resplendent Ceylon Hospitality Training Centre.
