Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management enriches lives of 400(+) students’, local and international. Based in the SLIIT campus in Malabe, the Academy provides a 100% Australian Qualification through the partnership of William Angliss Institute Melbourne. Together the partnership has successfully ensured to produce “job ready” students to the industry of Foods, Hospitality, Tourism and Events.
The Academy has a close relationship with Oman as there is a partnership with the “Renaissance Services Group, Oman” where a group of 10 to 15 students are sent to CAHM every year to acquire the qualification, and follow through the stages of Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management and graduate in Sri Lanka after the two year course.
In order to make Sri Lanka a “Home away from Home” experience, The Renaissance Services Group ensures that the students live in comfortable apartments, with all facilities sponsored and provided for by the company itself.
Due to the recent floods that devastated many families, the Renaissance Group extended a helping hand by providing Shakya Raja Viharaya – A Buddhist temple in close proximity to their apartment complex with single beds, cupboards, mattresses, pillows, blankets, clothes and stationery items as the students completed their years of study in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Steven Bradie-Miles, CEO of The Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management would like to take this opportunity to thank the Renaissance Services Group, Oman for this kind gesture and their generosity in relieving some stress and burden in the local community.
