With over 30 years of experience in Management, Food and Beverages and Culinary Mr. Manahara Munasinghe has had exposure in the various hospitality industries.
With over 30 years of experience in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry, Chef Jayanetti has worked in many hotels such as the Mount Lavinia Hotel where he started his career, Hilton Colombo, Gulf Hotel – Abu dhabi and Oman, Culture Club (Amaya Lake) – Dambulla, Browns Beach Hotel – Negombo, Boulder Gardens – Kalawana, Safir International and Ramada – Kuwait, Palm Beach Hotel – Mount Lavinia, Triton Hotel (Heritance Ahungalla), Hilton Sofia – Bulgaria, hotels in Canada and lectured in Win Stone School of Culinary Arts.
Mr. Abeynayaka has worked in the University of Colombo as a lecturer and gained more experience in the industry by working at Mount Lavinia Hotel, Adaaran Resorts Maldives (Aitken Spence International Hotel Management), Villa Ocean View, Wadduwa, Trans Asia Hotel, Heritance Ahungalla, Royal Palms Beach Hotel Kalutara and Sri Lanka Gateway to South Asia Travel Mart.
With 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, both in Training and Professional Work, he joined the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM) in 2012 as an Assistant Lecturer. Whilst studying at the SLITHM he had his first experience in a kitchen as a Commis at the Intercontinental Hotel (IHG) in Dubai, and worked at the Crown Plaza Dubai Hotel (IHG), Dubai, the Renaissance Dubai Hotel (By Marriott) in Dubai, the Jumeira Rotana.
With over a decade of experience in the direct customer service field in different industries, he doesn’t fail to show the importance of social and cultural sensitivity to the students at CAHM and lectures Diversity as a subject. His real passion is to lecture Regulatory Requirements.
Mr. Rubesinghe has over 5 years of experience in the Hospitality and Tourism sector where he has worked in Adina, Melbourne- Australia, Flight Quotes (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo, Venus Travels and Tours Colombo, Spotless Epicure, Melbourne – Australia, and Ikon Services, LOC – Crown Towers, Melbourne – Australia.
With over 45 years of experience he is a Ceylon Hotel School graduate and has dedicated 25 years of his career to “Training and Staff Human Resources Development”. He was also a senior lecture at the Hotel School for 8 years, a Teacher in Hospitality Studies at TAFE College in Australia, and a Manager in Training and Human Resources Development at Aitken Spence Hotels Pvt Ltd and John Keels Hotels Pvt Ltd.
With over 15 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry her work experience comes from several prominent roles from the Government and Private Sector. She has lead Sri Lanka Tourism destination marketing for 30 + countries as the Director Marketing for Sri Lanka Tourism, was the founder CEO of Responsible Tourism Partnership Sri Lanka and worked with the UK based The Travel Foundation.
Private sector experience includes the position of Advisor Sustainability and Corporate Communications for Aitken Spence Hotels Managements Pvt. Ltd. Ms. Maelge was a visiting lecturer at Sri Lankan and UK Universities in Marketing, Travel and Tourism.
